Lainey Wilson was the most nominated artist at last year’s Country Music Association Awards, and she’s back at it again! She’s leading the list of nominees for the upcoming CMA Awards with a total of nine nods, including entertainer of the year and album of the year.

Wilson will have to defeat Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, and Morgan Wallen to take home one of the ceremony’s main awards – entertainer of the year.

She’s also in the running for album of the year with her latest LP Bell Bottom Country. The list of contenders for this award also includes Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville by Ashley McBryde, Gettin’ Old by Luke Combs, One Thing at a Time by Morgan Wallen, and Rolling Up the Welcome Mat by Kelsea Ballerini.

She’s nominated in seven more categories – single of the year, music video of the year, and musical event of the year with “Wait in the Truck”, song of the year (“Heart Like A Truck”), female vocalist of the year, and musical event of the year (“Save Me”).

The 57th Annual Country Music Association Awards will take place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, with Luke Bryan with Peyton Manning serving as hosts.
