Lana Del Ray just gave an update on her forthcoming album Chemtrails Over The Country Club and announced that she’ll be releasing a digital album of “American standards and classics” in time for Christmas.

In an Instagram post, when talking about Chemtrails Over The Country Table, Del Ray said that the album is delayed for “16 to 17 weeks”, but finished and is “folky, super different from ‘Norman,’”—which was her previous album. Normal F—ing Rockwell was nominated for a Grammy last year.

Del Ray added that Chemtrails Over The Country Table will include “Patsy Cline songs, some Americana with Nikki Lane I’ve had in my back pocket,” which references the singer-songwriter who opened her 2019 Rockwell tour and performed with her.

Lastly, the singer mentioned her version of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from a new documentary about the Liverpool soccer team, which she later posted on Instagram.

Del Ray recently shared her new single “Let Me Love You Like A Woman”, the first track on the upcoming album.
