It’s been almost two months since Lana Del Rey dropped her latest album, and the music videos for its songs are still pouring in. The 10-minute-long visual for “Candy Necklace” featuring Jon Batiste is here, and it will take you straight back to classic Hollywood.

The Rich Lee-directed visual was shot in Los Angeles, and it sees Del Rey channel many beloved Hollywood starlets, from Marilyn Monroe to Elizabeth Short aka The Black Dahlia. She opted to pay homage to these pop culture icons because she relates to their journey and the dual roles they embraced throughout their lives.

“It was all supposed to be behind the scenes […] because all these women who changed their names and changed their hair, like me. It’s like they all fell into these different snake holes. So the whole point is how do you learn from that and not fall into your own thing?” she explained in the video.

“Candy Necklace” was released with the rest of Del Rey’s latest studio album Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. This record hit the shelves on March 24 and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, with her biggest opening week sales since 2015’s Honeymoon.
