Lauren Graham has just landed a television series regular role on NBC’s Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.

The Gilmore Girls alum is making her TV return on the forthcoming dramedy that follows Zoey Clarke, played by Jane Levy, “a 20-something computer coder in San Francisco who, after an unusual event, can hear the innermost wants and desires of the people around her expressed through song.”

Graham will play Zoey’s boss, originally played by Carmen Cusack in the pilot. She joins an ensemble cast that includes Skylar Astin, Peter Gallagher, Mary Steenburgen, Alex Newell, and John Clarence Stewart.

Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist was created and penned by Austin Winsberg (Gossip Girl). Girls director Richard Shepard is executive producing.
