Working with George Clooney may seem like the dream, but it is not all sunshine and roses being on set with the veteran actor.

The Up in the Air star appeared in the first season of Roseanne way back in 1989 as a love interest to Roseanne’s sister played by Laurie Meltcalf.

George is notorious for being a prankster (just ask Matt Damon and Brad Pitt), with Roseanne Barr revealing on The Howard Stern Show that after the show hit number 1 after three episodes, the 57-year-old convinced Roseanne to send a picture of herself smashing a large chocolate #1 to the President of ABC who had sent it.

When Laurie stopped by Watch What Happens Live, the Oscar nominee revealed that her favorite part of working with People’s former Sexiest Man Alive “was all the scenes that we got to do together, alluding to us having a romantic relationship. It was the best, that was fun.”

The worst part, however?

That Mr. Clooney didn’t return!

In fact, the Academy Award winner passed up the opportunity to make a guest appearance on the show’s reboot…

Ah well, at least we had season 1…
