HBO’s Westworld has just added another big name to its cast.
Emmy-winning Master of None writer-actress Lena Waithe has been tapped to star in Season 3 of the HBO drama Westworld. She joins the recently cast Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad). The two will star opposite series stars Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, and Thandie Newton.
The nature of her role — recurring or series regular in the upcoming season, which is likely to debut in 2020, is kept strictly under wraps in Westworld tradition.
The series is based on the Michael Crichton film of the same name. It hails from exec producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Production recently began on Season 3.
