Last week former Oasis vocalist, Liam Gallagher was spotted playing his music on a barge floating on the River Thames. Now, we learned the reason for this strange occurrence.

Gallagher has announced he will stream a live show for the fans, playing on said barge. The virtual show, titled Down By The River Thames, will take place on December 5th. It will stream exclusively on MelodyVR. The singer will perform songs spanning his whole career from his Oasis days to songs from his solo career. He has also promised a few surprises.

“I’ll be performing tracks from my two number 1 solo albums as well as some stone cold Oasis classics, some of which you haven’t heard me sing for a long, long time. C’mon you know. LG x”, he wrote on Instagram.

Tickets for the show will be available here from November 13 for the price of £16.50 (around $28). The show will be streamed at 8 p.m. GMT for the UK, Ireland, and Europe, 8 p.m. ET for East Coast North America and South America, 8 p.m. PT for West Coast North America and Central America, and on 6 December at 8 p.m. AEST for Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
