Liam Payne has teased a One Direction Union. The catch is that it will be in a few years.
During Payne’s appearance on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, the popular topic of whether a One Direction reunion is on the cards came up. Rather than quickly dismissing the rumors, Payne confessed that he does see it happening. The catch is that it will be “at least two years”.
“I think at some point we will get back together. I think we will, for sure,” he said. “I don’t know when that is yet but, all I know is there are at least two years while everyone’s just released new music where you have to go and promo and do all of that.”
He then emphasized once again that “there are at least two years.”
Payne also shared that he very recently reunited with his former bandmate Harry Styles at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball.
“I actually saw him for the first time in three years yesterday,” Payne revealed. “We hadn’t seen each other in a long, long time. It was really nice, he’s still the same boy as when I left him, really sweet…he’s such a lovely lad.”
