If Christmas movies happen to be your favorite genre, you’ll be happy to hear that Netflix is already plotting its slate for the next holiday season. They announced a new star-studded holiday movie Our Little Secret, led by Lindsay Lohan and Kristin Chenoweth.
This promising holiday comedy hails from writer Hailey DeDominicis and director Stephen Herek (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure), and it centers on two resentful exes who are forced to spend Christmas under the same roof after learning that their current partners are siblings.
Lohan is no stranger to Netflix holiday movies – she previously starred in their hit holiday rom-com Falling for Christmas alongside Chord Overstreet. Following its success, the Mean Girls star entered a two-picture creative partnership with the streaming giant, which will also include the upcoming rom-com Irish Wish.
In addition to Lohan and Chenoweth (Schmigadoon!), the cast of Our Little Secret will also include Ian Harding (Long Slow Exhale), Jon Rudnitsky (At Midnight), Chris Parnell (Senior Year), Tim Meadows (Mean Girls), Dan Bucatinsky (Scandal), Henry Czerny (Scream VI), Katie Baker (The Mosquito Coast), and Ash Santos (Mayor of Kingstown).
Our Little Secret is currently filming, and it will be produced by Mike Elliott and Lisa Gooding. It doesn’t have a release date yet, but it will most likely premiere on Netflix just in time for Christmas.
