It’s been so long since Liv Tyler made her MCU debut that you’ve probably forgotten all about it, but she’s finally ready for a comeback. Tyler will reprise her Marvel role as Betty Ross in Captain America: New World Order for the first time in 15 years.

Tyler’s character Betty Ross initially appeared in The Incredible Hulk, the second film in the MCU following the success of Iron Man. Edward Norton played the titular character in this film before Mark Ruffalo took over, while Tyler portrayed the cellular biologist and his love interest Betty Ross. She’s also the daughter of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who returned in later MCU films.

Marvel started exploring the idea of the multiverse during Phase 4, and Tyler isn’t the first character from The Incredible Hulk to make a comeback. Tim Roth, who played the villain Emil Blonsky aka Abomination, reprised his role in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, while Tim Blake Nelson will also return as Samuel Sterns in New World Order.

This will be the first MCU film to see Anthony Mackie play Captain America and it will continue the story of the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. In addition to Mackie, this series will also star Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Shira Haas, and Harrison Ford.
