It seems like Lizzo ended up catching the Harry Styles fever like the rest of us, and her love for the singer was obvious when she made a stop at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. One of the songs Lizzo chose to perform was a cover of Styles’ latest single “Adore You.”
Lizzo jokingly described Styles as her “favorite British import,” and said she’s a huge fan of his latest album, which also gave us hit singles “Lights Up” and “Watermelon Sugar.”
“I’ve been listening to the entire album, Fine Line is my jam. I listen to it in the morning, on the plane, so I already sing the songs, and now I get to do it with a live band my way,” said the singer before delivering a soulful cover of “Adore You.”
This isn’t the first time Lizzo and Styles sang praises to each other. He previously delivered a cover of Lizzo’s “Juice” on the same show and made a surprise appearance during her Super Bowl Weekend concert in Miami where they performed it together.
