Disney+ has given us several amazing Marvel shows this year, and it’s finally been confirmed that one of them is coming back for another round. Loki has been renewed for Season 2 and its second chapter has been announced midway through the end credits of the Season 1 finale.

The renewal has been simply announced through Loki’s case file stamp, which read: “Loki will return in Season 2.” Not much is known about the new season right now, and even the show’s main star Tom Hiddleston failed to confirm his comeback.

“I have learned, at this point, having said goodbye to the character more than twice, two and a half times maybe, to make no assumptions… I’m a temporary passenger on Loki’s journey, but we’ll see. We’ll see where the ride goes now,” the British actors told Deadline.

Loki sees the God of Mischief landing in hot water with the mysterious organization Time Variance Authority (TVA) after trying to steal the Tesseract. Due to its time-traveling theme, the show introduced many different variants of Loki, played by the likes of Sophia Di Martino and Richard E. Grant, so there’s room for more stories to be told in Season 2 even if Hiddleston doesn’t return.
