“Look Who’s Talking” Reboot is Coming Our Way

John Travolta and Jason Schaller in "Look Who's Talking"

It’s been three decades since John Travolta and Kirstie Alley gave us one of the most memorable comedies of the 80s with Look Who’s Talking. The movie turned out to be a huge box office hit, and Sony Pictures subsidiary Screen Gems is currently plotting a reboot.

Jeremy Garelick, known for his work on 2015 rom-com The Wedding Ringer, will be in charge of directing and writing this project. He’s looking forward to this journey and finds it very relatable because he’s also a father and a husband.

“What excited me about doing this is, I have four kids, including twins, and this is something they can watch, and share some of the experience I had with my wife. Like, figuring out how to raise these kids, with all the mistakes that happen,” said Garelick while chatting with Deadline.

The original Look Who’s Talking tells the story of a single, career-minded mom (Alley) who falls for a caring cab driver (Travolta) and it’s narrated by her newborn boy, voiced by none other than Bruce Willis.
