“Love Island” is Returning for Season 3

Justine Ndiba and Caleb Corprew in "Love Island"

Love Island has been renewed for a third season by CBS and this one will take place in Hawaii.

The show’s second season took place at Caesars Entertainment’s boutique hotel the Cromwell in Las Vegas, with the cast staying in a sequestered bubble due to the pandemic.

Season 3 will be set in Hawaii, where the pandemic is more under control than the rest of the country, with strict COVID procedures.

Hosted by Arielle Vandenberg, the U.S. remake of the British show features a group of singles on an island and asks them to couple-up or get dumped from the villa. In almost every episode, the islanders face challenges and the arrival of new islanders. Islanders must also win the hearts of viewers who have a say in what happens in the show and vote for a winner.

The first season was shot in a villa in Fiji in July 2019. The second season took place in Las Vegas in August 2020.

The most current winners are Justine Ndiba and Caleb Corprew.

Love Island is currently casting singles and is set to start production in the summer.
