Lucifer is going musical in its final season.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Lucifer’s season five’s 10th episode will be a musical episode.
The musical-themed episode titled “Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam” will feature multiple musical numbers, according to the outlet.
“We wanted to have a real grounded story reason why they’re singing and dancing, and not just, ‘Oh, this is going to be the one where everybody sings and dance,’” showrunner Ildy Modrovich told EW. “It’s been a little game of Tetris [planning the episode] but it’s super fun. It’s going to be amazing. It’s going to be just such a bucket list thing for me.”
The first part of Lucifer’s final season is set to debut on Netflix later this year.
