Lucy Hale to Lead Crime Drama Series “Ragdoll”

The six-episode AMC-Alibi series Ragdoll features six people who have been murdered and sewn into the shape of a disgusting body nicknamed—”Ragdoll”. DS Nathan Rose, who has been recently reinstated to the London Met, has been assigned to the case, and his best friend and boss, DI Emily Baxter, and the unit’s new recruit, DC Lake Edmunds (Hale). The killer taunts the police by sending them a list of his next victims and Rose’s list is on it.

The show is based on the novel of the same name by Daniel Cole. Filming is set to start in spring with the series to premiere later this year.

Hale is best known for starring in Pretty Little Liars, Life Sentence, Katy Keene, and Privileged. In regards to films, she’s been in A Nice Girl Like You, Truth or Dare, Son of the South, and The Unicorn. She recently completed filming Borrego, which she also served as an executive producer, and will be starring in the upcoming romcom The Hating Game.

Freddy Syborn will serve as the lead writer and executive producer with Sally Woodward Gentle and Lee Morris also serving as executive producers.
