The CW has cast Luke Mitchell opposite Stella Baker in The Republic of Sarah.
The Australian native has had many recognizable television roles since moving to Hollywood including The Tomorrow People, The Code, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Blindspot.
The Republic of Sarah centers around Sarah Cooper (Baker), a rebellious high school teacher who after learning that a greedy mining company wants to destroy her town, discovers a loophole and creates her own country with a group of young misfits.
Mitchell is set to play Sarah’s brother Danny, a lawyer who represents the mining company and he must return home to face scars from his difficult childhood.
Mithcell’s next roles will be in the upcoming films Black Water: Abyss and Without Remorse opposite Michael B Jordan.
