The dancing sensation has landed her next feature film role.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Maddie Ziegler has been cast in The Fallout. Ziegler, best known for performing in Sia’s music video “Chandelier” will star opposite previously cast You star Jenna Ortega.
The film hails from Megan Park who will write and direct. According to the outlet, The Fallout centers on high schooler Vada (Ortega) who must navigate the emotional fallout she experiences in the wake of a school tragedy, after which relationships with her family, friends, and view on the world are forever altered.
“Maddie is an exceptional talent, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to bring her on board. She will bring so much to the production,” producer David Brown, from Clear Horizon, said in a statement.
Ziegler can next be seen in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story.
