Madonna’s Madame X tour has been delayed, affecting the first three concert dates.
The iconic singer has decided to push back the first few dates of the tour because “Madame X is a perfectionist.”
A representative from Live Nation said Tuesday that the opening performances were delayed due to “highly specialized production elements being delayed.”
According to Variety, the shows scheduled for September 12 and 14 have been rescheduled to October 10 and 12, while the September 15 concert is canceled.
“Madame X is a perfectionist and wants to give you the most unique, magical, and musical experience,” Madonna said in a statement. “She underestimated the amount of time it would take to bring this kind of intimate theatrical experience to you and wants it to be perfect!!! Thank you so much for your understanding.”
The Madame X tour will now kick off Tuesday, September 17 at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, NY.
