Maisie Williams Lands Lead Role in Comedy Series “Two Weeks to Live”

Despite the fact Maisie Williams won’t be getting her own Game of Thrones spin-off we’ve all been hoping for, the future of her career is looking pretty bright. Young actress just landed the lead role in the upcoming comedy series Two Weeks to Live.

Williams will take on the role of a young misfit Kim Noakes, who’s stuck living a secluded rural life after her father’s mysterious death. After a prank gone wrong, Noakes finds herself on the run from a murderous gangster and must use bizarre survival techniques in order to save her life.

Gaby Hull created this six-part series for the UK network Sky, and Maisie Williams can’t wait start to filming this project in a few months and bring her story to life.

“Looking forward to getting into something new, I think Two Weeks To Live has really great potential and I want to make something incredible with this wonderful team,” said the young actress in a statement.
