Although they had their fair share of fights on-screen while portraying sisters Arya and Sansa Stark in HBO’s Game of Thornes, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner are really great friends in real life. As it turns out, the bond between the two co-starts is so strong that Maisie will be Sophie’s bridesmaid at her wedding with musician Joe Jonas.
Speaking to Radio Times over the weekend, Maisie Williams was asked whether she is “bidding for the bridesmaid position” at Sophie’s wedding.
“Oh, already got it,” Williams replied. “Yeah, it’s very, very exciting.” adding that “It’s kind of bizarre though.”
Masie was also asked about the wedding plans, but as it turns out, everything stands still until the last season of Games of Thrones wraps up.
“We’re waiting ’til this season’s done until we get into it,” said the 20-year-old actress. “But I think she’s already letting her little heart wander and imagine.”

While Sophie Turner already took care of the bridesmaid part of the wedding, Joe Jonas is still unsure about his best man. The 28-year-old DNCE singer has his brothers Kevin and Nick as the number one options and may decide to go with both of them.
Nick Jonas previously said he would be honored to be Joe’s best man, but mentioned that their brother Kevin at his wedding with Danielle Deleasa had them both sharing the best man position.
“I think my brother Kevin, when he got married, he had all of us be the best men.” said Nick. “That’s kind of the diplomatic approach, but I don’t know. It’s up to him.”
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas announced their engagement in October 2017. The two started dating in 2016.
