NBC has renewed yet another series for the 2019-20 season.

Multiple outlets confirm that the mystery drama, Manifest, will return for a second season.

The renewal was to be expected with series bring the highest rated new scripted series of the season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series never lost its place as the top first-year scripted show in adults 18-49.

Manifest centers on the passengers of Montego Air Flight 828 who went missing for five years and were presumed dead. But then, not only did they return, when they reappeared, they did so with no indication that time had passed.

The series stars Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, and Parveen Kaur.

Manifest marks the 12th scripted series NBC has renewed for next year including Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago PD, Good Girls, Law & Order: SVU and New Amsterdam and comedies Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Good Place, Superstore and Will & Grace.
