Mariah Carey is the undisputed Queen of Christmas, and she’s kicking off the holiday season in style this year. “All I Want for Christmas” singer announced she’ll welcome the holidays by embarking on a brief concert tour across North America this November and December.

Carey announced the amazing news on social media and captioned the tour poster by writing, “Yes, the actual defrosting has begun!” The 13-date tour will take place from November 15 to December 17, and it will take us everywhere from Los Angeles and New York to Toronto and Montreal.

Carey is fully embracing her reputation as Queen of Christmas, which she owes to her smash hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You”. This song was originally released as a part of her first holiday album Merry Christmas (1994), and it experienced a true renaissance with the rise of music streaming services.

Back in 2019, this holiday classic finally topped the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time, 25 years after its original release, setting several major records along the way. It kept returning to its peak at No. 1 every holiday season since, becoming the longest-running holiday song atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart with nine weeks at No. 1.
