Many amazing trailers were unveiled during Super Bowl Sunday, but none of them created more buzz than the new teaser for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Our favorite team of intergalactic heroes unites and embarks on another epic adventure in the new trailer for one of Marvel’s most-anticipated new films.
The two-minute clip shows Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill once again rally his team around him to defend the universe and embark on a mission that could mark the end of the Guardians of the Galaxy as we know them.
The new trailer also sees Zoe Saldaña return as Gamora, despite being killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. As Marvel keeps exploring the concept of the multiverse, we’ll see a younger version of Gamora lead a shady group of space people called the Ravagers.
In addition to Pratt and Saldaña, the third Guardians of the Galaxy film will see Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper return to their respective roles, and it will also feature Will Poulter, Elizabeth Debicki, Maria Bakalova, and Sylvester Stallone.
Just like the previous two Guardians of the Galaxy movies, the third installment has been written and directed by James Gunn and it will premiere on May 5.
