Next year is bringing several exciting Marvel movies our way, and Captain America: Brave New World will be the first one in line. The studio teased its release by dropping a first look at Harrison Ford and Anthony Mackie, who’s taking over from Chris Evans as the new Captain America.

The first image doesn’t tell us much about the film’s plot, and it simply shows Ford and Mackie hanging out behind the scenes of their upcoming Marvel movie. In addition to sharing the first-look photo, the studio also announced the title change, switching from Captain America: New World Order to Captain America: Brave New World.

Not much is known about the plot just yet, but Marvel already started setting the stage with the Disney+ show The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. This mini-series saw Anthony Mackie’s character Sam Wilson transitioning into the Captain America role after Steve Rogers passed him the shield in Avengers: Endgame.

Harrison Ford will join him as s Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, the President of the United States, taking over from William Hurt after his passing. The supporting cast will also include Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas, and Liv Tyler.

Captain America: Brave New World will be released on May 3, 2024, as part of the MCU’s Phase Five.
