After over two decades by each other’s side, Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker are working on a new project together – and it will take them straight to Broadway. The famous couple is set to star in a revival of Neil Simon’s play Plaza Suite.

This iconic play consists of three acts, each telling the story of a different couple occupying a suite at New York’s Plaza Hotel. The new version will be directed by John Benjamin Hickey, and it will have a pre-Broadway run at Boston’s Emerson Colonial Theatre before making it to the Hudson Theatre on March 13th.

Sarah Jessica Parker wrote that she’s “waited a lifetime” for this opportunity after announcing her Plaza Suite role on Instagram, and she’s clearly excited about working on this project alongside Broderick.

“A classic American comedy. A legendary playwright. An actor whom I get to love onstage and off. 2 actors, 6 roles. Neil Simon’s comedy about love, marriage, children and all the absurdity and heartbreak that can happen in suite 719,” wrote Parker.
