The Stranger Things star has dropped two new singles off of her upcoming untitled album.
But this isn’t a completely new venture for Maya Hawke, but rather a return to music.
The two singles, which were unveiled Friday are titled “To Love a Boy” and “Stay Open.” According to Variety, Hawke wrote the lyrics while Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Jesse Harris wrote the music.
The two tracks feature Hawke’s vocals paired with “some soft guitar strumming and a number of pared-down instruments.”
The daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman joins her Stranger Things co-stars, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Gaten Matarazzo, and Finn Wolfhard, who have all been promoting their music career alongside their television one.
Hawke most recently starred in Quentin Tarantino’s latest film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood as a Manson cult follower.
