Meet the family.

Mckenna Grace, who is currently starring as a young Carol Danvers in Capitan Marvel, has joined Jason Reitman’s forthcoming remake of Ghostbusters.

News of Grace’s casting comes just after it was confirmed that Carrie Coon and Finn Wolfhard are on board the project.

Very little is known about the plot, but according to sources the film, which is described as a sequel to the 1980s movies, will center on a family headed by a single mother. Grace will play Coon’s single mother character’s daughter and younger sister to Wolfhard’s character.

Co-writing the script are Reitman and Gil Kenan. Reitman will also direct.

The feature is due to go before cameras this summer and is dated for a July 10, 2020, release.
