The timeless story of Bonnie and Clyde served as inspiration for many movies over the years, and another is on the way. Megan Fox and Tyson Ritter are set to star in the upcoming thriller Johnny and Clyde, inspired by the story of the infamous crime duo.

This intriguing project will center on two serial killers on an endless crime spree, as they try to rob a prosperous casino run by crime boss Alana (Fox) and her head of security (Ritter). Chad A. Verdi, who’ll be in charge of producing this project couldn’t think of a better duo to play these roles.

“I am very excited to have Megan play the role of Alana. She’s a brilliant actress who will bring this character to life like no one else could. I love Tyson’s energy and can’t wait for him and Megan to go head-to-head,” said Verdi in a statement.

Megan Fox is fresh off her role in the horror movie Till Death, and we’ll soon get to see her in the dark comedy Big Gold Brick and Netflix thriller Night Teeth. Unlike Fox, Tyson Ritter is yet to make a name for himself in Hollywood, and he’s best known for his supporting turns on Parenthood and Preacher.
