Megan Thee Stallion has been very open about her dream of working in Hollywood, and she’s finally making it happen! The Grammy-winning musician is eying her next big movie role in the Safdie brothers’ next film led by Adam Sandler.

This project is still in the early stages of development, but it will reportedly be set in the world of sports memorabilia. It will reunite Sandler with Josh and Benny Safdie for the first time since his critically acclaimed role in Uncut Gems, and Stallion is in negotiations to join him in a mystery role.

This career shift doesn’t come as a surprise for Stallion’s fans since she previously opened up about her Hollywood ambitions. The Grammy-winning rapper told The Hollywood Reporter she wants to explore the filmmaking business, both on and off camera.

“I definitely want to be an actress, but I also really want to be a director. For me, I love movies. I’m just definitely like a film buff… I like to create. Not only do I like to write music, I like to write stories. I definitely want to see these stories come to life,” Stallion explained.

This won’t be Stallion’s first acting role—she previously appeared on TV shows P-ValleyShe-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Good Girls, and we’ll soon see her make her feature debut in the musical comedy F***ing Identical Twins opposite Nathan Lane, Bowen Yang, and Megan Mullally.
