Megan Thee Stallion has some good news to share.

The “Sweetest Pie” rapper has been working on her sophomore album for the last while and has now announced that she is done!

The as-yet-untitled album will be the follow-up to 2020’s Good News which featured appearances from DaBaby, City Girls, Lil Durk, SZA, Popcaan, Mustard, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, and Beyoncé. The debut album entered the Billboard 200 in the second spot when it dropped in November two years ago.

Taking to Instagram, Megan shared a photo from the recording studio with the words: “So happy abt my album, it’s finished.” The 27-year-old singer held back on most details, but did write, “it’s for the hotties, it’s honest, it’s real, it’s me.” It is believed that she has already recorded between 25 and 30 songs.

It seems as though the forthcoming album will also include collaborations as Megan tagged Sauce Walka in her Story. Like her, the “Wack 2 Wack” rapper also hails from Houston. During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Miss Stallion revealed that she worked with Future on a track called “Pressurelicious” which will feature on the album.
