Megan Thee Stallion broke the internet with her latest song “Hiss”, and this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart reflects the song’s huge success. This viral hit sneaked its way to No. 1 during its debut week, becoming Stallion’s first solo single to top the chart and third overall.

“Hiss” debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart with 29.2 million first-week streams, 2.9 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 104,000 downloads sold between January 26-February 1. It also hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs, Digital Song Sales, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and Hot Rap Songs charts.

Stallion is no stranger to hitting No. 1, and she previously did it with the “Savage” remix ft. Beyoncé and the Cardi B collaboration “WAP”. Topping the Hot 100 with “Hiss”, however, feels more special because it’s her first solo single to soar to the top of the chart.

Stallion celebrated the success of “Hiss” with a post on social media, and promised it’s just the beginning of something special.

“Thank you to everyone that ran it up!!! Im so thankful, so grateful, so appreciative!!! Hotties we got THEE ALBUM AND THEE HOT GIRL SUMMER TOUR NEXT 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Lets stay focused and stay positive and keep going up!!!” she wrote on Instagram.
