Congratulations are in order for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who celebrated Valentine’s Day in the best way possible. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their family will soon expand because they’re expecting their second child together.

The news was confirmed in an official statement shared by the couple’s spokesperson, which read: “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”

If you think that it’s a coincidence that Harry and Meghan announced the news on Valentine’s Day—think again. Fans of the royal family were quick to notice that their announcement mirrors the one made exactly 37 years ago when Princess Diana announced she’s expecting Prince Harry on Valentine’s Day.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also proud parents to Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, born in 2019. The couple currently resides in California after stepping away from their royal duties last year. In the months following their departure, they signed lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify.
