Graham King and  John Logan team again for a Michael Jackson biopic.

King, the producer on the Oscar-winning Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, has secured the rights to the late pop icon’s life and music. This means that he has access to use all of Jackson’s music in the feature film based on Jackson’s life.

This isn’t the first time King and Logan collaborated on a biopic — the two worked together on Martin Scorsese’s Howard Hughes biopic, The Aviator.

Sources tell Deadline, which first reported the news, that the “film isn’t intended to be a sanitized rendering of Jackson’s life,” and that “the complexity of Jackson’s life is well known and will not be ignored in a film that will span his entire life.”

No studio is involved yet.
