If you think that Halloween Kills was the last that we’ve seen of Michael Myers—think again. One of the horror’s most enduring villains is alive and kicking in the first trailer for Halloween Ends and he’s ready to embark on another murderous spree.

The thirteenth installment in the Halloween film takes place four years after the events of Halloween Kills. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since and Laurie Storde (Jamie Lee Curtis) is busy taking care of her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and writing her memoir.

As she tries to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life, Laurie is forced to finally confront the evil she can’t control and fight her lifelong tormentor to death after he breaks free.

Jamie Lee Curtis made her big screen debut with the role of Laurie Strode in the original film Halloween from 1978, end returned to the franchise 40 years later. She reprised the role in the 2018 film Halloween, followed by Halloween Kills in 2021, all directed by David Gordon Green.

The cast of Halloween Ends also includes Will Patton, Kyle Richards, Omar Dorsey, Rohan Campbell, and James Jude Courtney as Michael Myers. It will be released on October 14, 2022 by Universal Pictures.
