Season 12 of American Horror Story will be an embarrassment of the riches and another amazing actress just joined its cast. Michaela Jaé Rodriguez will reunite with Ryan Murphy in the next chapter of the hit anthology series.

The cast of American Horror Story is getting more amazing by the day, and Rodriguez will be in pretty good company on the set of this project. Season 12 will be led by Kim Kardashian, Emma Roberts, and Cara Delevingne, with the rest of the cast yet to be announced. Kardashian’s character was written with her in mind, while the rest of the roles are being kept under wraps.

The upcoming twelfth season of American Horror Story is based on Danielle Valentine’s upcoming thriller novel Delicate Condition, and it’s been described as a feminist take on Rosemary’s Baby. The new season will reportedly center on a woman who becomes convinced that a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens.

This won’t be Rodriguez’s first collaboration with AHS co-creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy. She played Blanca Rodrigue on Murphy’s Pose and made history as the first trans person to win a Golden Globe and the first trans woman to receive an Emmy Award nod in a major acting category.
