Congratulations are in order for Michelle Williams and Thomas Kail.
People reported that the actress is engaged to the Hamilton director and that the couple are also expecting their first child together.
According to sources, the four-time Oscar nominee’s 14-year-old daughter Matilda, whom she shared with late actor Heath Ledger, played matchmaker after the two met on the set of the critically acclaimed show Fosse/Verdon, in which Kail directed Williams.
While Williams is known for maintaining her personal life private, she did tell Vanity Fair in 2018, “I never gave up on love. I always say to Matilda, ‘Your dad loved me before anybody thought I was talented, or pretty, or had nice clothes.”
