Congratulations are in order for Michelle Williams! According to Vanity Fair, the All the Money in the World star has secretly gotten hitched.
Michelle has kept her private life under wraps since being previously involved with the late Heath Ledger with whom she has a daughter, Matilda. 12-year-old Matilda is said to have been one of a handful of guests at her mom’s wedding to Mount Eerie singer, Phil Elverum.
The musician is also a father to 3-year-old Agathe, and lost his wife two years ago to pancreatic cancer.
The secret nuptials reportedly took place in upstate New York earlier this month, with all four now living together in Michelle’s Brooklyn home.
Williams spilled the beans in an interview with Vanity Fair and described their relationship as “very sacred and very special”. She never gave up on love after the tragic death of Heath Ledger, who loved her “before anybody thought she was talented or pretty”. Williams finally found her true match in someone who fully understands her journey.
“Obviously I’ve never once in my life talked about a relationship. But Phil isn’t anyone else. And that’s worth something. Ultimately the way he loves me is the way I want to live my life on the whole. I work to be free inside of the moment. I parent to let Matilda feel free to be herself, and I am finally loved by someone who makes me feel free.”
