Cancel Thanksgiving because Mike Birbiglia is coming to Netflix!
The comedian had some big news for his fans today, taking to social media to announce that his hit show, Mike Birbiglia: The New One, is coming to Netflix.
The New One will mark Birbiglia’s third special on the streaming giant, following 2013’s My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend and 2017’s Thank God for Jokes.
“We’re super proud of this show. I’m doing a 5 week run at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles (@ctgla). These will be the final live shows of The New One, then you can watch it over Thanksgiving dinner on Netflix. It touches on a bunch of uncomfortable topics but isn’t that what Thanksgiving is about?”
The special was filmed at the Cort Theatre in Manhattan. The confessional comedy follows Birbiglia, who didn’t want to have a child, have a child.
