Miley Cyrus’ latest studio album Endless Summer Vacation produced several pretty amazing music videos and she just dropped another one. The singer bares it all in the emotional visual for “Jaded”, one of the most melancholic songs from her new album.
Just like the visual for the album’s lead single “Flowers”, this music video puts Cyrus front and center and it doesn’t feature any additional actors or backup dancers. The Jack Boxenman-directed visual sees the singer enjoying an unmade bed and hanging by the pool, while palm trees and pale blue skies lurk in the background.
Cyrus can also be seen wearing a shimmering golden swimsuit while delivering the song’s most powerful lyrics, “Isn’t it a shame that it ended like that? Said goodbye forever, but you never unpacked / We went to hell, but we never came back.”
“Jaded” was released as the third single from Cyrus’s latest album Endless Summer Vacation, which hit the shelves on March 10, and it was preceded by singles “Flowers” and “River”. Despite scoring her biggest week by units since Billboard introduced them in 2014, Endless Summer Vacation failed to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and eventually debuted at No. 3.
