Miley Cyrus is celebrating the tenth anniversary of her seminal album Bangerz, and she prepared a special treat to mark the occasion. She’ll take us on a walk down memory lane with her new single “Used To Be Young”, set to be released next week.

Cyrus initially teased a potential release of this song when she announced the tenth-anniversary vinyl edition of Bangerz. The album description on her official website simply reads, “Reflect back on when Miley Used To Be Young by revisiting the beloved original hits”, but her eagle-eyed fans noticed a potential song title in this press release.

Cyrus made things official by announcing the release of “Used To Be Young” on social media and shared what seems to be a snippet of the song’s lyrics: “I know I used to be crazy. I know I used to be fun. You say I used to be wild. I say I used to be young.”

Cyrus’ new single will hit the shelves on August 25, and she’ll celebrate its release with an ABC special Endless Summer Vacation: Continued (Backyard Sessions).

“This time with a retrospective interview sharing stories about the first 30 years of my life in honor of U2BY. This song is dedicated to my loyal fans. I love YOU for loving every version of ME. Always, Miley,” she wrote on social media.
