Milla Jovovich’s latest movie, Monster Hunter, has had its release date confirmed for September 4, 2020, preparing hunters across the world to gather once the due date comes.

The film is an adaptation of the popular hunter video game that allows players to rip apart wild animals with the goal of making armor and weapons out of their body parts. Jovovich teams up with actor Tony Jaa as soldiers who traveled from Earth to tour the Monster Hunter World. The team was sent by the UN to fight off the monsters and prevent them from visiting Earth.

The filming of Monster Hunter is already done and the film is near completion. Reports close to the film’s producers say they are hoping for a Labor Day Weekend release date, hence the September fourth date. So far, only two other films have release dates on the same day: The Conjuring 3 and The Croods 2.

Monster Hunter producers are the same people who produced the commercially successful film starring Milla, Resident Evil. The series grossed over one billion dollars. Director Paul W.S. is expected to use the same crew that helped make Resident Evil a success in the new film.
