Stranger Things put many young actors on the map, and Millie Bobby Brown is definitely its shiniest star. As the beloved Netflix show approaches its final season, the Emmy-nomination actress reflected on its ending and said she’s ready to say goodbye.

Brown discussed the final season of Stranger Things in a recent interview with Women’s Wear Daily and said she’s ready to let go of Eleven after spending most of her teenage years playing this character.

“It’s been such a huge factor in part of my life, but it’s like graduating high school, it’s like senior year. You’re ready to go and blossom and flourish and you’re grateful for the time you’ve had, but it’s time to create your own message and live your own life,” said Brown.

Since Stranger Things premiered in 2016, Brown built a pretty successful career outside of this series. She played the titular role in two Enola Holmes films, starred in the Godzilla franchise, launched her own beauty brand Florence by Mills, and became the youngest person to ever be appointed as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things still doesn’t have a release date in sight since the ongoing Hollywood strikes have stalled production. The Duffer Brothers are also developing an animated series set in the same universe.
