Millie Bobby Brown’s collaboration with Netflix is a gift that keeps on giving, and they have another exciting new movie on the way! The Emmy-nominated actress will soon appear in the fantasy film Damsel, and you can finally watch the first teaser for this thrilling project.
According to Netflix’s official synopsis, this film centers on a dutiful damsel who agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to find the royal family has recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. She ends up thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon and must rely on her wits and will to survive.
In addition to Brown, this fantasy film will also star Angela Bassett, Robin Wright, Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Brooke Carter, and Shohreh Aghdashloo. It was originally supposed to premiere on October 13, 2023, but its release date was pushed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
Brown got her big break with the main role in the Netflix series Stranger Things and later went on to lead the streamer’s mystery franchise Enola Holmes. The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is currently on the way, and Brown recently told Women’s Wear Daily she’s ready to say goodbye to this series because there comes a time when you want to “create your own message and live your own life.”
