Asif Kapadia wants Mindhunter fans to make their voices heard.

After two gripping seasons, it was announced by Netflix that the series had been postponed indefinitely and executive producer David Fincher confirmed that it was unlikely to return. The Mank director explained that the cost of the production was disproportionate to the number of people watching.

In what appeared to be the final nail in the coffin, the show’s stars were all released from their contracts…

But that doesn’t mean that viewers should give up, according to one of the Mundhunters’ filmmakers. Kapadia, who directed two episodes in the first season, wrote a tweet encouraging action.

“Audiences around the world need let @netflix know that there is a real interest & demand for Season 3 of @MINDHUNTER_ if you make enough noise, It might actually happen…. #DavidFincher #mindhunter,” he tweeted.

Both seasons of Mindhunter are currently on Netflix.
