Hacker Drama “Mr. Robot” is Ending With Season 4

Mr. Robot has been one of the most visually distinctive and mind-bending shows on TV for the last few years, but all good things must come to an end. USA Network officially announced their hit hacker drama is going off the air after its fourth season.

Devoted fans were heartbroken after receiving the news, but it’s important to remember this was a plan from the start. Showrunner Sam Esmail never wanted Mr. Robot to drag on forever. He always had a specific conclusion in mind and felt it’s finally time to share it with the whole world. USA Network didn’t want to say goodbye to one of their biggest hits to date, but agreed to do so because they had too much respect for the story Esmail wanted to tell.

“From the beginning, Mr. Robot proved to be a show unlike any other on television, capturing the zeitgeist of our modern times with a unique point of view and definitive vision. Working with Sam and the entire cast and crew has been nothing short of incredible – and we can’t wait to reveal the complete Mr. Robot story,” said USA Network president Chris McCumber.

Mr. Robot follows a young hacker who plays a crucial role in overthrowing the corrupt corporation he works for and must deal with the aftermath of his actions. It stars Rami Malek and Christian Slater, who received several accolades for their career-defining roles as Elliot Alderson and Mr. Robot.
