MTV Revival “Making The Band” Casts Sean Combs’ Sons as Judges

Sean Combs, Quincy Brown, Christian Combs, and Justin Combs in "Making The Band"

The 2000s show Making The Band is returning back to MTV in 2020 and celebrity choreographer LaurieAnne Gibson and Sean Combs’ sons Quincy Brown and Christian and Justin Combs will be the judges.

The series first aired in 2000 on ABC before it moved to MTV in 2002. Making The Band is based on finding new stars in the music industry. The bands O-Town, Danity Kane, Day26, Da Band, and Donnie Klang were all formed from the series.

Later this month, Making The Band will begin its multi-city casting call holding auditions in Atlanta, Houston, Charlotte, North Carlina, and New York City. Before the casting call, each city on tour will offer fans the chance to experience the show via pop-up vocal booths that will offer a music video-style performance to approved audition songs.

Combs, Combs’ sons, and Gibson will all be part of the tour.

There has yet to be a release date for the series, but MTV has said Making The Band will premiere in 2020.
