After two years of dating, Muse singer and guitarist Matthew Bellamy got to courage to go down on one knee and ask his girlfriend model Elle Evans to marry him. Evans said yes, and now Bellamy is engaged once again. Maybe the third time will be a charm for Matthew. He and Evans are currently on a vacation in Fiji, where Bellamy popped the question. Evans announced the news on her Instagram profile, writing the following:
“Was going to surprise everyone on Christmas, but just can’t wait any longer…. We are so happy to announce to the world that we are engaged! Just a few days after my birthday, on the most romantic holiday of our lives, the man of my dreams asked me to marry him! After tears of joy, gasps of shock, and a split second of disbelief, of course- I said YES! I can’t imagine our lives apart. What I can imagine is a bright future full of love & light, family & friends, moments that turn into cherished memories, and a lifetime of pure bliss”
Alongside the announcement, Evans also shared three pictures. One has her and Bellamy riding horses, other shows her surprise and the third one gives us a great look at the amazing ring she got.
This is the third engagement for Bellamy, and we hope that he will go through with this one. He was previously engaged to Italian psychologist Gaia Polloni for nine years, before calling off the engagements in 2006. He began dating actress Kate Hudson in 2010 and got engaged in April 2011. In July of the same year, Kate gave birth to their first child, son Bingham. However, the couple announced in December 2014 that the engagements are off.
