NBC has given the green light to a new drama pilot titled Ordinary Joe.
The pilot hails from Russel Friend, Garrett Lerner, and Matt Reeves. Friend and Lerner will pen the series, which according to the outlet will explore the three parallel lives of the show’s main character after he makes a pivotal choice at a crossroads in his life, per Deadline. The series asks the question of how different life might look if you made your decision based on love, loyalty or passion.
According to the outlet, Reeves originally wrote a pilot script based on the idea more than a decade ago.
