NCIS: Los Angeles is one of CBS’s longest-running scripted shows, but its final chapter is just around the corner. The police procedural drama is coming to an end after 14 seasons on CBS, and its final episode will air later this year.

NCIS: Los Angeles premiered on CBS all the way back in 2009, as the second installment of the NCIS franchise. It centered on the adventures of the Los Angeles–based elite division of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, whose agents go undercover to solve difficult cases in LA.

The cast of NCIS: Los Angeles was led by Chris O’Donnell, Daniela Ruah, and LL Cool J, with Peter Cambor, Adam Jamal Craig, Linda Hunt, Barrett Foa, and Eric Christian Olsen in supporting roles.

Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, said they’re grateful for the collaboration with the NCIS team and that they’re planning to give them the big sendoff that they deserve.

“For 14 seasons, NCIS: Los Angeles has been a stalwart of our lineup with characters who were a joy to watch. From day one, the cast, producers, and crew were amazing network/studio partners, and their teamwork, talent, and spirit vividly came through on the screen,” said Reisenbach in a statement.

The 14th and final season of NCIS: Los Angeles is currently airing on CBS and it will conclude on May 14.
